Meet Jade & Courtney
Jade
👋 HEY, I’m Jade — Co-founder, Director and a passionate educator at Hub of Early Years (H.E.Y).
With over 15 years of experience in early childhood education and growing, my career began at the heart of it all: working directly with children and families. That hands-on start shaped everything that followed. I’ve grown through the ranks — from Practitioner to Room Leader to then a Setting Manager, where I proudly led a nursery from 'Requires Improvement' to 'Outstanding'. More recently, I’ve supported multiple settings as an Area Manager, offering strategic leadership, while staying grounded in the realities of daily operations and practice.
My journey has given me a rich and realistic perspective on the challenges that early years providers face — and more importantly, how to navigate them to achieve lasting, positive impact. Whether you're aiming for improvement or striving for excellence; I am here to support all EY professionals in reaching truly inspirational outcomes.
🎓 I’ve recently completed my Degree in Early Childhood Studies and continue to expand my knowledge through ongoing academic study. I’m committed to staying curious and current — bringing both practical wisdom and research-led insight to everything I do.

HEY everyone, 👋
I’m Courtney, the Co-Founder and Director at Hub of Early Years (H.E.Y).
My journey began from my professional dance and performance background where I had the privilege of teaching children from nursery, primary and secondary ages, movement to music and choreography classes. My creativity continues to shape my work, where I navigated my focus to give our youngest children (0-5) the best start in life through high-quality teaching and practice through optimal environments and care, to thrive.
With nearly 20 years’ experience, which continues to grow, I’ve worked across a range of roles from practitioner to senior leadership positions such as Nursery Manager and Area Manager, including current work as an Ofsted Inspector making monumental changes and supporting standards. I have passion to reform the early years sector through my expertise of experience and academic work, prioritising better outcomes for children.
I have research interests of continuous professional development, policy and practice and special educational needs and disabilities, where I apply a unique lens to help raise standards and awareness in our sector for all children. I am currently undertaking my Professional Doctorate in Education (EdD), deepening my commitment of forward thinking and creating excellence, with a child-centred approach to nurture the best outcomes for children, and for YOU! 🎓
