The Early Years Foundation Stage: Theory and Practice
Our Co-Founder and Director Courtney has shared her expertise and insight through her contribution to Part 2: Pedagogy Section of the Early Years Foundation Stage: Theory and Practice which is published by SAGE. Chapter 11 which she co-wrote discuss observations in early years and the recording and analysis of these. This book has been cited by many early years educators and is a must have for any professionals completing a degree in early childhood.
Early Years Essentials (EYE): Connecting Theory to Provision
Following on from Courtney's successful first contribution to a book, we are excited to share she has also contributed to two chapters in the book Early Years Essentials: Connecting Theory to Provision. This book is currently going through editing and should be available toward the end of 2025 to start of 2026.

Nursery world Article
One of Courtney's first ever contributions was an article in Nursery World Awards discussing EYFS Activities: We've explored campfires.
With a focus on extending outdoor learning environments - at the time the setting was limited with outdoor space. Courtney explains in the article her ability to use any space provided to create an engaging and imaginative activities to extend and support children's learning,
To this day Courtney is still doing this but is always adapting her practices to every setting she attends and supports.
Hopscotch Newsletter
Another successful collaboration, this time with Hopscotch's newsletter in 2024. Courtney talks through her passion for early childhood, curriculums and quality.
